April 1...Caught a Fish

I just want to tell the world that I am proud to be a Red-neck, country, Hick from Mansfield, Texas. This is the last food post and I have to admit I would be relieved, but nest week is "slimy" that has to be worst than food. These themes are really making me work.

This fish was caught by the hands a child, at a park after a flood, last night. When Corey, my best friends son, saw it he wanted to hold it....I just wanted a picture of it. Got to love the fish face Corey is making. It was great. Even though we didn't eat this fish. Is is considered food. Hope you all enjoyed this as much as we did.

Kids are so funny sometimes. Trey is funny most of the time. Jadyn is just getting to that stage where he is picking up his own personality. Like today, he decided to wait until I put up my camera before he started copying his brother. Wouldn't you know it, when I finally got the camera he stopped. He thought it was funny. I begged him to do it again .....no luck. Trey being the little monkey he is, Goofed off the whole time.

We went to the park to feed the ducks today, but their were none to be found. So, Trey and I started throwing old biscuits into the water. Then all of a sudden, these baby catfish and turtles started coming up to the surface, They would fight over the pieces of bread. It was so much fun to watch. It was really hard to get the pictures of the fish. Even the turtle ones didn't turn out that good, I don't think. If you look to the right side of Trey's head, you will see a dark spot....that is a turtle.

Today I recieved some very heartbreaking news. It was really wierd because I had taken this picture before I got the news. These are M&M's! Every time I see an M&M I think mine and my husbands best friends. They have always had M&M's in their home. All kinds of different M&M's stuff. Today we received the call that are almost definitely going to be moving further away from us. Which sent me into tears, and my husband has been in this really quite mood. So in honor of two people who have touched our lives, I have decided to dedicate this post to them, and let it serve as a reminder that Friends are always together in spirit.

Every time we see M&M's we will always think of them and in our hearts we will be together. We love you, Cory & Jenn, and unless God performs a miracle (WHICH HE HAS BEEN KNOW TO DO) we are going to miss you something terrible.

God we pray that you will be with them and will guide them with every step that they take. We pray that your blessing will follow them wherever they go and that they find favor with men. Keep you hands on their family. Keep them strong. May they never lose their first love, You.

March 26...Popcorn

We had Chelsi and Kansi over to night to spend the night and we watched a movie and had popcorn. Guess what I decided to do? Take a picture. You should have known that. That is what I do everyday. I thought I better go ahead and post for tomorrow since I will not get a chance since I will be at the hospital with my Aunt, who is having surgery, tomorrow.

March 25...Games

I am the board game, girl. I love to play mind games, thinking games, games that move fast, and games that make you laugh. I really don't have a favorite. I think that games bring people together. By the time we have kids I would like to have twice as many games.

Fans are some of my best friends. I am a very hot natured person and almost always have fans on me . Usually the fans are bigger and better than this. I will be fanning myself, when the rest of the world is freezing. How crazy is that?

March 22...Water To Drink

I drew up with the best drinking water. Then when we moved the water was aweful. So now we go to my mothers house once a week, at least, to get drinking water. It is so pure and clean. I have never drank out of a crystal clear brook or creek, but that is how I inmagine the water to taste like. I don't ever crave anything else when I am drinking this water. It quinches my thirst. It's kind of like the Bible when it says, "O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him." Psalms 34:8

We went to the Ft. Worth zoo this week. When I saw these birds, I nearly busted a gut laughing so hard. I had never seen a bird give another bird tongue before. LOL!

Pinks are not usually my favorite color, but these trees are just so pretty and I caught bees on them. You can guess that they are not SOOC. Was trying to shoot ISO as low a possible so I could crop in during pp.

March 16...Chelsi Doll's Painting

This picture was painted by my Chelsi Doll. She was so excited when she walked over to my house to show it to me for the first time. I absolutely fell in love with it. I talked her into letting me keep it. It is now framed and sits on the night stand next to my side of the bed. I think for a 7 year old it is amazing work. I think it is just so good as that painting that sold for over a million dollars. I think the "guy" who painted it dipped worms in a can of paint and then dumped them in the middle of the canvas and let them crawl off the canvas.

I love this field of purple. All these blooms are on a tree at my mothers house. She has three of them and this is the first time that they have look so pretty. In fact this was the first time that they have looked purple.

These are my first attempt at due "drop reflections." My mother planted them in my front flowerbed. I think they are so pretty.
The only thing I did was crop, because with the kit lens I can't get close enough to see the reflections in the dew drops. I just love the way the shadows fell on the stems of the Johnny Jump-Ups.

March 11..The Wheel

I think the invention of the wheel has to be on the list of things that make my life easier. We now can ride instead of walking. That is not the only thing that we benefit from having wheels. Just imagine life without the wheel.

March 10...Easy Access

This really makes life easier. It is like a hub for the Internet. It has so many links that makes my everyday life on the net easy. There are links for YAHOO!, MSN, Gmail, Hotmail, Juno, AOL, The Weather, World Time, Google, World Map, White Pages, Yellow Pages, Dictionary, AnyWho, and if you are like me and spend most of your time on the computer everyday, There is a link that will you can click and it will read the Bible to you. You can also do verse and word searches. If there is a link that would make your life easier you can send an email and let them know. They review the link and will sometimes post them. Their goal is to have a web site that makes getting where you need to be easier. That makes my life easier.

This has really made life easier. When I HAD (see prior post) back pain, I would use this to pick things up off the floor. I still use it, but not to prevent pain, just because it is easier.

March 8...Hands of Support

I'm not even sure how to start with this one. This is the hand of my husband, David, holding onto mine. He is the most amazing man I know. When we were married, he promised, "for richer & poorer, In sickness & in health, For better or worse." I know for a fact that most people don't mean those words. The divorce rate is off the charts. I am blessed to say my husband did. Two years after we got married I had to quite my job due to a back injury. Our house hold income drop. We got "POORER." I was in so much pain that some days I could not get out of bed. My health kept getting worse and worse. He was always there to make sure that I had everything I needed. Staying home from work was always an option, if I really needed him. Even though it has put his job on the rocks at times. I was in "SICKNESS." You can imagine how a independent, accomplished, business woman took the role reversal....My attitude got "WORSE"
All I can say is I thank God for a husband who makes my life easier. He has always given me a helping hand.

Then a miracle happened!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last Sunday at church God completely healed my back pain. After injection, therapy, and chiropractics and being in chronic back pain for over five years. God chooses to heal me instantaneously during a worship service at church. WOW!!! Isn't God good. I glad my God is in the healing business.

PRAISE GOD! NO MORE PAIN!

I am on the phone every day at least long enough to run it down once. I usually use the speaker phone, which uses more battery. I spend a lot of time on it talking to my friend Jenn. She teaches me all the ins and outs of PS4.0. I talk to my dad a lot. He lives out of state so the phone gives me easy access. I also get DSL, which allows me to talk on the phone at the same time I am working on the computer. ie...PS4.0 lessons.

March 3...Anne of Green Gables

Here it is the set of movies that have been my favorites since I was a little girl. While honeymooning in Orlando, FL. my husband found all three of these on DVD and bought them for me. I was so excited. I had never seen the third part before. There is just something about the way Megan Follows plays Anne Shirley that keeps me coming back for more. Really, it might have been Jonothan Crombe. I think every girl had a thing for him. I would recommend that you watch these movies if you have never seen them. They just might become your favorite, too.

March 2...Kanzi & Zack

This is my Kanzilillie. I tell her she is my little flower. Even though I wold like to introduce Zack, the dog, as mine. He really belongs to Kanzi. He likes all of us, but I really think he likes Kanzi the best. My favorite story of the two of them was when Kanzi was about 2 yrs. I walked outside and found her sleeping, using Zack as pillow. He never moved one inch until she woke up, and he was just a puppy then. What a good puppy.

I think that having memories of all of "my kids" are what makes life so much fun. I love "my kids".

March 1...The Moon

Night time is one of my favorite things. I love moonlit walks and being under the stars. Conversation seems to be much better under the moonlit sky.
Here's something to think about.The moon it's self gives off no light, but it only reflects the light of the sun. I want to be like the moon. I don't want to be seen unless I am reflecting the light of Jesus Christ, the SON of God. It would be wonderful to have people walking by me saying, she "Having the glory of God: and her light [was] like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;" Revelations 21:11

I think that sometimes we think we have to look and act just like Jesus. I think what He really wants is for us to look and act like ourselves while letting Him shine through us.

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 John 1:7
