There is something thing about fire & flames that completely fascinates me. I could sit and watch it for hours. I love to burn things, just to see them burn. I love the way the colors in fire are changing constantly.

This was taken at my brothers house. We were all putting stuff in to burn. It was a very cold last night and heat from the bond fire was amazing.

This is the piece of land, that I was brought home from the hospital to, when I was born. I own it now. I have spent a lot of time cleaning it up. One day it is my dream to have a home built on it. I think it is so beautiful out here. It smells like country. Can't beat that.

I remember when I was a teen the only speed limit signs I obeyed were the ones that read 45mph and under. I was a 5mph over the speed limit, girl. Not any more. Now when I drive, I stay really close to the speed limit. Little older. Little Wiser. Oh...and no money!

Here it is, the funny, "How I got this picture." My husband and I went out looking for a spot on the top of a hill. I wanted the angle and thought that it would be safest. I would wait until there were no cars in site, then I would run and lay one the road and take a picture. We could see about a mile, going in both directions. I can't tell you how many times my husband told me, "If you don't get out of that road you are going to get hit." Did I listen? Well....duh! I'm still here aren't I? It took me about 20min to get this shot. Why does traffic have to increase when I want to play in the street?

I have always liked to look at pictures like this. So I thought I would try to do one myself. I changed the ISO 3 times and the f-stop 2. You should have seen me sitting in the car window on an entrance ramp with the camera on the top of the car trying to hold it still enough, since I lost an important piece of my tripod.

This was just way to cute not to take pictures of. My husband, who loves the wild west, bought the pop gins at Party City one year while I was picking up stuff for a party. He wears them a lot when he is watching westerns. Anyway, today Trey wanted him to share his pop guns. They walked around the house for what seemed to be all day, wearing those guns. We went to the park and Trey was popping out from behind trees trying to get the slip on the black crows that were all around.

I use to love this book when I was a kid. I don't know there was just something about it. I think I liked the fact that it was old and easy to read. The fact that it had many short stories was a bonus.

I collect coins. I think it is so cool to look back on history and just imagine where this coin has been and what it has bought. I bet someone work really hard to earn this coin at one time. I'm sure it fed little children. Somewhere down the road, I'm sure it was spent to take kids to see a Disney movie. Who really knows? I can only imagine.
